The Equestrian Center at Ark Regional Services was built in 1992 to house the recreational riding, hippotherapy, and vocational services programs. The 10,000 square foot indoor arena is heated and fully accessible, providing comfortable year-round use. It is equipped with a therapy room with accessible restrooms, locker room, office, tack room, feed storage, and five indoor stalls. If needed a ramp and lift with a sling are available to assist riders mounting and dismounting the horses.
The Equestrian Center also includes an outdoor arena. The beautifully landscaped space consists of 80,000 square feet bordered by trees, and includes two outdoor exercise arenas, four runs with shelters, and a hay barn.
